CALL TO ORDER Chair Hammond called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. 1.A ROLL CALL Present: 9 - Chair Melissa Hammond, Vice Chair Jacob David, Boardmember Konrad Bruns, Boardmember Heather Chambers, Boardmember Janis Dean, Boardmember Anne Gavzer, Boardmember Oliver Stormshak, Boardmember Jamie Vulva and David Rauh Excused: 1 - Boardmember Alana Carr Absent: 1 - Boardmember Shannon Tiegs 1.B OTHERS PRESENT City of Olympia Staff: Strategic Projects Manager Amy Buckler PBIA Staff Liaison Max DeJarnatt ODA Executive Director Todd Cutts Sophie's Scoops owner Sophie Landis 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was approved as amended to add item 6.D Emergency Mural Relocation. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 22-0111 Approval of January 10, 2022 PBIA Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes The minutes were approved. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT - None 5. ANNOUNCEMENTS City of Olympia Page 1 PBIA Advisory Board Meeting Minutes - Final February 2, 2022 Mr. DeJarnatt made announcements. 6. BUSINESS ITEMS 6.A 22-0113 Recapping Downtown for the Holidays and the Alliance’s 2022 workplan Mr. Cutts shared a Powerpoint presentation. The discussion was completed. 6.B 22-0114 Ideas for PBIA’s Downtown Recovery Project Ms. Buckler presented a Downtown Recovery Project Elements and Ideas Powerpoint. The discussion was completed. 6.C 22-0118 Board resignation and appointee Boardmember Gavzer moved, seconded by Boardmember David, to accept the resignation of Boardmember Carr and appoint Sophie Landis as replacement. The motion passed unanimously. 6.D 22-0169 Emergency Mural Relocation - ADDED AT MEETING Boardmember Dean moved, seconded by Boardmember Vulva, to relocate the Rainbow Wings mural using $1800 of the Art budget. The motion passed unanimously. 6.E 22-0110 Finalizing 2022 Work Plan Boardmember Bruns moved, seconded by Boardmember Vulva, to approve the 2022 Draft Work Plan. The motion passed unanimously. 7. REPORTS Mr. DeJarnatt shared reports regarding the PBIA budget, the Mural Tour, and PBIA Committee representatives. 8. OTHER TOPICS - None 9.
