1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Hammond called the meeting to order at 5:36 p.m.

Present: 9 - Chair Melissa Hammond, Vice Chair Jacob David, Boardmember
Alden Davis, Boardmember Anne Gavzer, Boardmember Sophia
Landis, Boardmember Monique Ossa, Boardmember Kyle Radanovic,
Boardmember Oliver Stormshak and Boardmember Shannon Tiegs
Excused: 2 - Boardmember Janis Dean and Boardmember David Rauh
Absent: 1 - Boardmember Heather Chambers

2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Amendment: Add as Business Item C a discussion of a partnership with Lamplighters for
a night market.
The agenda was approved as amended.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
3.A 22-0904 Approval of September 7, 2022 PBIA Meeting Minutes
The minutes were approved.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT - None
5. ANNOUNCEMENTS
Ms. Buckler made announcements of upcoming City-wide events.

6. BUSINESS ITEMS
6.A 22-0902 Consideration of Event Sponsorship Request
Chair Hammond led discussion to approve a $1,000.00 sponsorship for Harlequin.
The motion failed unanimously.
6.B 22-0903 Status Update on PBIA Activities
Ms. Buckler and Chair Hammond led the discussion for funding and maintaining the
Downtown holiday lighting and to extend into new locations.
Boardmember Tiegs moved, seconded by Boardmember Stormshak, to direct
$13,000.00 to the Olympia Downtown Alliance to fund Downtown holiday
lighting. The motion passed unanimously.
6.C 22-1023 ADDED DURING MEETING - Discussion with Lamplighters to Fund
Coordination and Promotion of Makers Market Events in Downtown
Ms. Kragness shared the scope of work action items for hosting a makers market in
December.
Boardmember Tiegs moved, seconded by Vice Chair David, to approve
$6,000.00 to Lamplighters to fund a makers market. The motion passed
unanimously.
