1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Hammond called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m.

3.A 22-1044 Approval of October 5, 2022 PBIA Meeting Minutes
The minutes were approved.
4. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS - None
5. ANNOUNCEMENTS
Boardmember Rauh recapped Mixx96's Halloween promotion and Ms. Buckler reminded
the Board the City is providing free Diversity, Equity and Belonging training.

6. BUSINESS ITEMS
6.A 22-1015 Outdoor Dining Briefing
Mr. Curtis presented and shared a PowerPoint presentation on outdoor dining.
The information was received.
6.B 22-1016 Update about Holiday Makers Markets
Ms. Kragness presented and shared a PowerPoint on Holiday Makers Markets.
The information was received.
6.C 22-1022 Consideration of Event Sponsorship Request
Ms. Buckler discussed the event sponsorship request.
Boardmember Landis moved, seconded by Vice Chair David, to approve the
event sponsorship from Team Tomorrow for $1,000.00 to support the music
summit. The motion passed unanimously.
6.D 22-1027 Request from ODA for Holiday Décor Funds
Ms. Buckler shared a PowerPoint presentation and discussed the funding request for
sidewalk decals. Boardmember Landis will be the PBIA's point-person to work with ODA
on this project, and the decals must have QR codes.
Boardmember Tiegs moved, seconded by Boardmember Radanovic, to
approve the ODA's funding requests for sidewalk decals, in the amount of
$3,500 plus the cost of additional decals for 5th Avenue between Capital Way
and Columbia, not to exceed $3,900.00. The motion carried by the following
vote:
Aye: 9 - Chair Hammond, Vice Chair David, Boardmember Davis,
Boardmember Gavzer, Boardmember Landis, Boardmember Ossa,
Boardmember Radanovic, Boardmember Rauh and Boardmember
Tiegs
Nay: 1 - Boardmember Stormshak
Absent: 3 - Boardmember Chambers, Boardmember Dean and Boardmember
Vulva
6.E 22-1024 Status Update on PBIA Activities
Ms. Buckler shared a PowerPoint presentation with updates on PBIA activities.
The information was received.
