CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:09 p.m. 1.A ROLL CALL Present: 6 - Co-Chair Parfait Bassalé, Commissioner Mark Hodgson, Commissioner Rachelle Martin, Commissioner Fauziya Mohamedali, Commissioner Jessicarae Nuñez and Commissioner Marianne Ozmun-Wells Excused: 2 - Commissioner Kevin Mattison and Commissioner Robin Rosen-Evans 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was approved. 4. ANNOUNCEMENTS The October 9 Social Justice and Equity Commission Subcommittee meeting is moved to October 16. 5. BUSINESS ITEMS 5.A 23-0818 Discuss Community Oversight of Law Enforcement Deputy Police Chiefs Shelby Parker and Chief Sam Costello gave an in-depth presentation on the Olympia Police Department. The presentation included crime data, organizational structure, the difference between non-commissioned and commissioned staff, body cameras, policy and the different divisions in the police department.
