Oroville Civil Service Monday, March 22, 2021 Meeting called to order at 4:40 pm by Chairman Richard Werner. Present: Commissioners Richard Werner, Mike Sibley, Joe King Others present: Emily Finsen Absent: N/A Approval of the minutes from the February 22, 2021 regular meeting. Motion by Joe to approve the minutes as written, second by Mike; motion carried. No scheduled appearances. Commission reviewed sections 13-15 of the General Rules and Regulations and made corrections for future adoption. Finsen handed out sections 16-18 of the General Rules and Regulations to be reviewed and discussed at next meeting. Finsen stated that there was an email addressed to the Commission regarding Taylor Pokos and his displeasure in his resignation from the Police Department and Academy back in September 2020, Commission concluded that as Pokos was in the probationary period his resignation was justified and will be sending him a formal letter stating such. Next Regular Civil Service meeting to be held Monday, April 26, 2021. As there being no further business, motion by Mike to adjourn the meeting at 5:00 pm, second by Joe; motion carried.
