Park & Recreation Committee

PROCEEDINGS OF THE Village of Oxford Park & Rec Committee The Park & Recreation Committee of the Village of Oxford, Marquette County, Wisconsin met in session at 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2024, in the Council Room of the Oxford Village Hall. The meeting was called to order by Committee Chair L. Drinkwater at 4:00 pm. The following Committee Members were present: Holtz, Wastart and President Meyer. Also in attendance were Clerk-Treasurer Maier and Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Kongslie. Motion made by Wastart/Holtz to approve the agenda as printed. Motion carried. The committee prepared a proposed 2025 Park and Recreation Budget with the needs of a new net for the Tennis Courts, paint on the roof of the small pavilion. The 2025 Library Budget was presented to the Committee that was approved at the library board meeting. The tennis court net shall be purchased at no more than $300.00 out of the Recreation Concession Stand fund. Motion by Wastart/Meyer to send recommendations of the 2025 Park & Recreation Budget to the Finance Committee for approval. Motion carried.
