PROCEEDINGS OF THE PUBLIC HEARING November 21, 2022 The Village Board of the Village of Oxford, Marquette County, Wisconsin met on Monday, November 21, 2022 in the Council Room of the Oxford Village Hall, 129 S. Franklin Avenue. President Meyer called the Hearing to order at 6:30 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance. In attendance were Trustees Drinkwater, Rozek, Sorensen, O’Brien, and Holden. Not in attendance was Trustee Bohringer. Motion made by O’Brien/Holden to accept the agenda as printed. Motion carried The purpose of the Hearing was to allow for any public comments or concerns regarding the proposed 2023 General Fund and Sewer Fund Budgets. No public comments were made. A full review of the 2023 General Fund and Sewer Fund Budgets was completed. Motion made by Drinkwater/Rozek to close the Public Hearing at 6:43 PM. Motion carried. ______________________________ Shannon McMullin, Clerk-Treasurer Village of Oxford Marquette County, Wisconsin SPECIAL MEETING OF THE OXFORD VILLAGE BOARD Immediately following the Public Hearing, the Village Board of the Village of Oxford, Marquette County, Wisconsin met. The meeting was called to order by President Meyer at 6:43 PM with Trustees Drinkwater, Rozek, Sorensen, O’Brien, and Holden present. Not in attendance was Trustee Bohringer. Motion made by Drinkwater/Holden to accept the agenda as printed. Motion carried There were no proposed changes to the 2023 General Fund Budget or 2023 Sewer Fund Budget discussed at the Public Hearing that needed to be addressed. Resolution 2022-4 relative to adopting the 2022 Tax Levy and the 2023 General Fund Budget was presented. Motion made by Drinkwater/Sorensen to adopt Resolution 2022-4. A roll call vote was unanimously in favor. Motion made by O’Brien/Rozek to accept the Village of Oxford 2023 Sewer Fund Budget as presented. A roll call vote was unanimously in favor. Road closures for the Lighted Holiday Parade were discussed. Motion made by Drinkwater/Holden to approve the road closures per the state permit issued by the Department of Transportation. Motion carried. The Board discussed awarding 2022 employee performance bonuses for general employee performances. Motion made by O’Brien/Sorensen to approve $750.00 performance bonuses for the Public Works Director and Clerk. Motion carried. Motion made by Drinkwater/Rozek to adjourn at 7:02 PM.
