Village of Palmyra
PLAN COMMISSION
Wednesday March 26, 2025
6:00 p.m.
100 W. Taft St.
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Gorsegner. Roll Call: Ball, Gorsegner,
Holcomb, Scheffner, Sheppard - present. Also present, Angelia Petruska.
Approval of Minutes: Holcomb/Sheppard motion to approve the minutes from March
17, Combined Committee of the Whole and Plan Commission Meeting. All ayes-motion
carried.
Public Hearing: Public Hearing was opened at 6:02 p.m. for a request from A&K
Armorers, owner(s) Anthony and Kimberly Nations, to operate Recreation Equipment,
Service of firearms and related accessories at 206 W. Main Street, parcel 171-0516-2241-
033.
Anthony Nation introduced himself and his wife and said he was there to answer any
questions. Ball asked if he was buying the building, and he said yes. Petruska asked why
Wisconsin. Anthony said his wife wanted to come back home. Anthony said he is a
gunsmith and a master armorer.
There being no other question, Gorsegner closed the Public Hearing at 6:07 p.m.
New Business:
Gorsegner read MSA memo regarding a conditional use request from A&K Armorers,
owners(s) Anthony and Kimberly Nations, to operate a Recreation Equipment, Service of
firearms and related accessories at 206 W. Main St., parcel 171-0516-221-033. The
parcel is currently zoned B1 – Central Business. The retail business will have a federal
license and include the service, repair, modification, and customization of firearms for
retail sales. Scheffner/Ball motion to approve the conditional use with MSA
recommendations. All ayes- motion carried.
Ball/Scheffner made a motion to approve the Plan of Operations from A&K Armorers,
owner(s) Anthony and Kimberly Nations, to operate a retail sales and service of firearms
and related accessories at 206 W. Main Street, parcel 171-0516-2241-033. All ayes –
motion carried.
There being no further business, Sheppard/Holcomb motion to adjourn at 6:18 pm. All ayes-
motion carried.
