MEETING MINUTES Village of Palmyra Monday Jan. 22, 2024 100 W. Taft St. Palmyra Village Hall 10:30 a.m. The meeting was called to order by Village President Kathy Weiss at 10:30 am. Roll call: Gorsegner, Kinjerski, Petruska, Weiss-present. Ball, Smith, Troiola- excused. Also present: Scott Pavlock Business 1. Petruska/Gorsegner motion to adopt Ordinance 2024-01 to Amend and Re-create Chapter 4.5.06, Rules and Policies for the Police Department. President Weiss and Chief Pavlock explained the reason for these ordinance changes. The current, outdated ordinance would require the chief to bring all policies to the Village Board for approval and this would be a long drawn-out process, these policies are statutorily required by the Chief. All ayes-motion carried. 2. Petruska/Gorsegner motion to adopt Ordinance 2024-02 to Amend and Re-create Chapter 5.01 Government of the Fire Department. All ayes-motion carried. These ordinances will be published Jan. 26th and legal on the date of publication. Gorsegner/Petruska motion to adjourn at 10:45 am. All ayes-motion carried.
