MEETING MINUTES
Village of Palmyra
Monday June 24, 2024

Palmyra Village Hall
6:00 p.m.
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by President Weiss. Roll call: Ball, Gorsegner,
Petruska, Smith, Troiola, Weiss-present. Kinjerski-absent.
Business
1. Troiola/Gorsegner motion to convene into Closed Session at 6:01 pm with staff, pursuant to
§19.85(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of
any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.
Specifically for employee reviews of department heads: Public Works, Village Clerk/Treasurer,
Recreation Director, Public Safety Director. Roll call vote: Ball, Gorsegner, Petruska, Smith,
Troiola, Weiss-aye. Motion carried.
2. Ball/Troiola motion to convene into open session at 8:40 pm for further discussion related to
matters discussed in closed session. Roll call vote: Ball, Gorsegner, Petruska, Smith,
Troiola, Weiss-aye. Motion carried. The Board reviewed Laurie Mueller, Scott Halbrucker,
Stephanie Butler and Scott Pavlock. The Board was please with everyone’s performance and it
was agreed by all that there needs to be better communication between everyone.
Troiola/Petruska motion to adjourn at 8:41 pm. All ayes-motion carried.

1. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that The Village Board may convene into Closed Session with
