REQUEST FOR SPECIAL MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF PAOLA, KANSAS TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR, ARTIE STUTEVILLE, OF THE CITY OF PAOLA, KANSAS: We, the undersigned being duly elected, qualified, and acting Councilmembers of the City of Paola, Kansas, hereby respectfully request you to call a Special Meeting of the Governing Body of the City of Paola, Kansas to be held in the Second Floor Conference Room at Paola City Hall at 19 E Peoria Street in Paola on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 6:00 pm, for the following purpose: See attached Agenda. Executive Session: the justification being a consultation with an attorney for the governing body which is deemed privileged in the attorney-client relationship. K.S.A. 75-4319(b)(2) is the authority for this recess. Action – Motion to adjourn to Executive Session, to include the Mayor, Council, City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk to discuss possible claims against the City pursuant to consultation with an attorney for the public body which would be deemed privileged in the attorney-client relationship exemption, KSA 75-4319(b)(2); the regular meeting to reconvene here at the Second Floor Conference Room at Paola City Hall at ___ p.m. Action – Motion to reconvene the adjourned meeting. 4.
