Adopt Resolution No. 2026-51, “A Resolution of the Town Council of the Town of Paradise certifying to the County of Butte the validity of the legal process used to place direct charges (special assessments) on the secured tax roll”; and, 2. Authorize the Town Manager and Finance Director to approve direct charge (special assessment) changes; and, 3. Authorize the Town Manager and Finance Director to execute the governing authority certification related to the direct assessments on the property tax roll. (ROLL CALL VOTE) (Finance Director/Aimee Beleu) 4. CONSIDERATION 4a. Approve the Town’s responses to the three separate 2025-2026 Butte County Grand Jury Final Reports and authorize the Mayor to sign the responses on behalf of the Town Council. (ROLL CALL VOTE) Members of the public may address the Town Council only on items listed on the special meeting agenda. The Council is prohibited by law from considering any other business at this meeting.
