ADOPTION OF MINUTES MIN 16-044 Unadopted Committee of the Whole December 6, 2016 Meeting Minutes Proposed Motion The Committee of the Whole meeting minutes of December 6, 2016 be adopted, as presented. NEW BUSINESS Mayor and Council Member Matters A motion was made by Committee Member AnnLisa Jensen that the Water Quantity and Quality Management Resolution presented at the January 16, 2017 AAMDC Pembina Zone meeting be referred to the AAMDC Executive for sponsorship at the AAMDC Spring Convention in March, 2017 as the Resolution is provincial in scope. The motion carried by the following votes: For: 4- Council Member Jensen, Council Member McCuaig, Mayor Shaigec and Council Member Kobasiuk Against: 1- Council Member McNab Chief Financial Officer RFD 17-001 November 30, 2016 Financial Statements Proposed Motion That the Committee of the Whole receive the November 30, 2016 Financial Statements as information, as presented. Tracy Kibblewhite, Chief Financial Officer, presented the November 30, 2016 Financial Statements. A motion was made by Committee Member Phyllis Kobasiuk that the November 30, 2016 Financial Statements be received for information, as presented. The motion carried unanimously. Mike Heck, Chief Administrative Officer, began presenting the Safety Program Overview Project and advised the presentation will continue following the 9:30 a.m. appointment. DELEGATIONS App 17-004 Appointment: 9:30 a.m. Hills of Hope Historical Society - Queen Elizabeth II Portrait Presentation (Corrine Paradis, Carrol Willgrave, Alice Gasnitz and Terrence Krause) Corrine Paradis, President, and Terrence Krause of The Hills of Hope Historical Society presented a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II to the Committee of the Whole members with MLA Erin Babcock in attendance. Recess Chairperson John McNab recessed the meeting at 9:46 a.m. and reconvened the meeting at 9:53 a.m. General Manager, Corporate Services RFD 17-014 Safety Program Overview Project Update Proposed Motion That Committee of the Whole receive the Safety Program Overview Project update as information. Mike Heck, Chief Administrative Officer, continued the presentation of the Safety Program Overview Project.
