Dave Cross, General Manager Community Services, provided an overview of the Community Services Division Update. Mark Cardinal, Manager Agricultural Services; Brian Cornforth, Fire Chief; Karen Clark, Manager Emergency Communications Services; Geoff Heritage, Manager Enforcement Services and Lenny Richer, Director Parks, Recreation & Culture Services provided updates of their respective service areas. A motion was made by Mayor Rod Shaigec that the Community Services Update be received for information, as presented. The motion carried unanimously. Recess Committee Chair Tracey Melnyk recessed the meeting at 10:26 a.m. and reconvened the meeting at 10:36 a.m. General Manager, Corporate Services RFD 17-022 2017 Council Committee Work Plans Proposed Motions The 2017 Work Plans for the Agricultural Service Board, the Community Sustainability Committee, and the Economic Diversification Committee be approved, as presented. Arlan Delisle, Director of Legal & Legislative Services, provided an overview of the 2017 Council Committee Work Plans. A motion was made by Committee Member John McNab that the 2017 Council Committee Work Plans be revised and presented for approval at a February, 2017 meeting of Council. The motion carried unanimously.
