CALL TO ORDER/TERRITORIAL LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Committee Chairperson Kobasiuk called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
On behalf of the Committee, Chairperson Kobasiuk offered the following Treaty
6 lands acknowledgement:
We recognize that we are on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional lands of the
Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Dene and Nakota Sioux Nations. We acknowledge
all the First Nations, Metis and Inuit, whose footsteps have marked these lands
for centuries.
Committee Member Kowalski attended the meeting virtually at 9:05 a.m.

Proposed Motion
That the Operations Services Division - Update and Overview report be

A motion was made by Committee Member Wiedeman that the Operations
Service Division - Update and Overview report be received for information, as
presented.

Chairperson Kobasiuk recessed the meeting at 10:24 a.m., and reconvened the
meeting at 10:36 a.m.

RFD 23-303 Big Lake Residential Waste and Recycling Collection Implementation Plan
Proposed Motions
1. That Administration be directed to issue a Request for Proposal for
residential waste and recycling collection services in the Big Lake area in
2024 for services to begin in 2025.
2. That Administration present to Committee in 2024 a proposed monthly
residential cost for residential waste and recycling collection services in the
Big Lake area based on tender results.

The motion carried unanimously.
