PUC Ladder 2000 GPM and two (2) Pierce Engine Class 1 1500 GPM using HGAC Contract #FS12-19 for a total appropriation of $2,677,532.00 from the General Fund Balance Account. (MAINTENANCE SERVICES) City of Pasadena – Council Meeting 2 Minutes: 01-27-22 9:00 a.m. Councilmember Bass moved, seconded by Councilmember Schoenbein that Ordinance 2022-013 be passed on first and final reading. Councilmember Van Houte – Stated that this item is to replace fire trucks that are several years past their life expectancy. Explained that the company would be raising the prices in the following month, so the City had to do an emergency reading to avoid having to pay several thousand dollars more. Councilmember Harrison – Commented that in past experience it takes more than a year for the fire trucks to be manufactured and delivered. Stated we are in a situation where we need them now and this will save 10%. MOTION CARRIED, UNANIMOUS.
