Motion was made by Alderman Gill and seconded by Alderman Williams to continue this
matter to December 5, 2023. The following members of the Board of Alderman to the

became the Order of the Board:

1. Consider request from Justin McCardle for a Conditional Use Permit to allow him to
operate a vehicle reconditioning business at 133 Paul Truitt Lane, Suite G, Pearl,
Mississippi 39208.
Motion was made by Alderman Foy and seconded by Alderman Knight to approve the
request from Justin McCardle for a Conditional Use Permit to allow him to operate a
vehicle reconditioning business at 133 Paul Truitt Lane, Suite G, Pearl, Mississippi 39208.
The following members of the Board of Alderman voted in favor of the Motion which
became the Order of the Board:
Aye: Alderman McHenry, Alderman Williams, Alderman Dennis, Alderman

Motion was made by Alderman McHenry, seconded by Alderman Dennis, to approve Order
to approve and authorize payment to Clear River Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of
$155,806.38, for the Parks & Recreation Construction Project Phase II: City Park
Improvements. (Estimate #35) The following members of the Board of Alderman voted in
favor of the Motion which became the Order by a unanimous vote.
Aye: Alderman McHenry, Alderman Williams, Alderman Dennis, Alderman
Steverson, and Alderman Knight
Nay: Alderman Foy, and Alderman Gill

Motion was made by Alderman Steverson and seconded by Alderman Knight to approve an
Order to adopt a Resolution of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Pearl,
Mississippi, determining the necessity for and invoking the authority granted to cities by the
legislature with respect to Urban Renewal as set forth in Section 43-35-1 et. seq. of the
Mississippi Code Annotated (1972), determining that a public hearing be conducted in
connection with the City’s Urban Renewal Plan; and for related purposes. The following
members of the Board of Alderman voted in favor of the Motion which became the Order
of the Board:

development; and for related purposes. The following members of the Board of Alderman
voted in favor of the Motion which became the Order of the Board:

A motion was made by Alderman Gill, and seconded by Alderman Knight, to adjourn the meeting in
Honor of Former Alderman District 5, James Thompson. The motion carried by the following vote:
