Village Trustee McGreal – absent. Village Trustee Mohan – Village Trustee Mohan and Mayor Mullen went on a tour of the new Municipal Center. Village Trustee Otondi – absent. Village Trustee Solomon – Village Trustee Solomon met with the the PTAC committee, and also went on a tour of the Municipal Center. Deputy Mayor Carpenter – thank you to the Pelham Civics Association for the success of the 2024 Toonerville event. Item # 5 - Village Administrator’s Report: Our annual fall paving is going to be taking place. The roads we anticipate paving are: all of Seventh Avenue, Second Avenue from Lincoln Avenue to First Street (half of the roadway between First Street and Second Street), Second Street from First Avenue to Fourth Avenue, Fourth Avenue from Sixth Street to Seventh Street (half of the roadway), and Seventh Street from Fourth Avenue to the Dead End. Westchester County provided an update on paving Lincoln Ave from border to border. A contract was awarded, the work will take place in the spring of 2025 and the work will be done at night due to Lincoln Ave being on arterial roadway. Item # 7 - Public Comments No public comment. Village Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Tuesday, September 24, 2024 Non-Recurring Items Item # 8 – Resolution Authorizing Change Order # 1 for Contract # 2024-01 Pedestrian Signal Modifications and Intersection Improvements Wolfs Lane and Sparks Avenue Whereas, the Village Board of Trustees at their meeting on August 6, 2024, adopted a Resolution awarding Contract # 2024-01 “Pedestrian Signal Modifications and ADA Ramps at the Intersection of Wolfs Lane and Sparks Avenue” to Verde Electric Maintenance Corp., at a total cost of $275,535.00; and Whereas, during the course of construction certain field conditions have been encountered necessitating additional construction work to be performed. Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Pelham hereby adopts the attached Public Entity Resolution with Valley National Bank; and Be it further resolved, that the Village Administrator/Treasurer is authorized to enter into a collateral agreement with Valley National Bank to provide sufficient collateral to protect the Village’s principal on account with Valley National Bank; and Be it further resolved, that the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, the Village Administrator/Treasurer, Deputy Village Treasurer and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized to sign checks on behalf of the Village of Pelham. Now, therefore, be it resolved, that pursuant to New York State Village Law § 5-520, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Pelham hereby authorizes and directs the Village Administrator/ Treasurer and Deputy Village Treasurer to modify the 2024-25 Budget by making the following budget amendments and transfers (items attached hereto and made part hereof).
