CITY OF PELICAN RAPIDS COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES-07-15-05 The City Council of the City of Pelican Rapids met in continued session at 7:30 a.m., 07-15-05, in Council Chambers, City Hall, 315 N. Broadway. The meeting was continued from the regularly scheduled meeting of 07-11-05. Mayor Wayne Runningen, Council Members, Ben Woessner, Richard Peterson, John E. Waller, III, and David Gottenborg were present. Administrator Don Solga and Clerk-Treasurer Glenys Ehlert were also present. Mayor Runningen reconvened the 07-11-05 City Council meeting. Administrator Don Solga reviewed the candidates for the position of the Street and Park Superintendent. The Personnel Committee recommends appointing Brian Olson as Street and Park Superintendent. Motion by Woessner, seconded by Gottenborg to offer the position of Street and Park Superintendent to Brian Olson at level one of the pay schedule, effective 07- 18-05. Mayor Runningen and Council Members Woessner, Gottenborg and Waller voted in favor of the motion. No one voted against the motion. Council Member Peterson abstained from voting. Motion carried. Motion by Peterson, seconded by Gottenborg to advertise for the open street department position. Motion passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:55 a.m. Glenys Ehlert, CMC Clerk-Treasurer
