Request to ACCEPT the LOW BID of R.A. CULLINAN & SONS, a Division of
United Contractors Midwest, Inc., and Award a Construction CONTRACT, in
the Amount of $2,067,480.87, which is the Base Bid of $1,879,528.06 plus
10% for contingency, for the HARVARD AVE. PHASE 1 - SHADY OAK DRIVE
to PURDUE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT. (Council District 3)
17-109 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works with a
Request to ACCEPT the LOW BID of OTTO BAUM COMPANY and Award the
Construction CONTRACT, in the Amount of $1,102,776.12 plus 10%
Contingency, for a Total Contract of $1,213,053.73 for the FOLKERS AVENUE
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT (WEST LATROBE STREET TO WEST

17-110 Communication from the City Manager and the Community Development
Director with a Request to APPROVE the Grant Award, in the Amount of
$204,384.00, from the City’s HUD HOME FUNDS to WALLICK-HENDY
DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, LLC for the Rehabilitation of PIERSON HILLS
located at 1720 NORTH GREAT OAK ROAD. (Parcel ID # 1806101004)

17-111 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works with a
Request for the Following: (Council District 5)
A. APPROVE a Local Agenda AGREEMENT for Federal Participation with
the ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION to Request 90%
Federal Funding (not to exceed $1,400,000.00) for the RADNOR
ROAD/ALTA LANE Intersection Improvement Project; and
B. APPROVE a RESOLUTION Authorizing the City’s Estimated Minimum
Local Agency Funding Match ($1,600,000.00), Subject to the Approval
of the Illinois Department of Transportation, for the RADNOR
ROAD/ALTA LANE Intersection Improvement Project.
17-112 Communication from the City Manager and the Human Resource Director with
a Request to Authorize the City Manager to Execute the COLLECTIVE
BARGAINING AGREEMENT NEGOTIATED BETWEEN THE City of Peoria
and the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL #50
with Said Agreement Covering the Period from January 1, 2017, through
December 31, 2021.
