Minutes Architectural Review Board Wednesday, February 12th, 2025 Multi-purpose, Petersburg Public Library 201 W. Washington St. 6:00 p.m. In attendance: Larry Murphy, Joe Battiston, Louis Malon, Bill Hartsock, Celeste Wynn Absent: Dino Lunsford, Joe Yates 1. Meeting was called to order at 6:00pm 2. Approval of Agenda Action: Agenda was approved. 3. Review of Minutes January 2025 Minutes approval motioned by Louis Malon, seconded by Larry Murphy. 4. Public Information Period No public comments were received. 5. Requests for Certificate of Appropriateness: a. 32-34 Pine Street; Folley Castle Historic District; Owner/Applicant: Juan Medina- New Fibrex composite windows, Hardie plank siding. Windows cannot be resized and Fibrex windows are acceptable. Wood fence. Repair metal roof. Approval motioned by Larry Murphy; seconded by Celeste Wynn. b. 115 Pine Street; Folley Castle Historic District; Owner/Applicant: Derwin Kinston- Historic plaque. Deferred. c. 107 S Jefferson Street; Poplar Lawn Historic District; Owner/Applicant: Nelson Diaz Martinez- Engineer’s report to be reviewed by ARB; next step restoration work. In-kind repair. Motioned by Louis Malon; Celeste Wynn seconded. d. 307 N Sycamore Street; Old Towne Historic District; Owner: Best Wings and Tacos; Applicant: Nurah Malik- Signage/neon signage. No backlit signs. Decals and signs can only cover up to 50 square feet. Approval motioned by Celeste Wynn; Louis Malon seconded.
