Minutes from the Petersburg City Council meeting held on: July 27, 2016 -1– ______________________________________________________________________________ The Special Meeting of the Petersburg City Council was held on Tuesday, July 27, 2016, at City Hall in Mayor’s Conference Room. Mayor Myers called the special meeting to order at 5:45p.m. 1. ROLL CALL: Present: Council Member David R. Coleman Council Member Darrin Hill Council Member Brian A. Moore Council Member Treska Wilson-Smith Vice Mayor Samuel Parham Mayor W. Howard Myers Absent: Council Member John A. Hart, Sr. Present from City Administration: Dironna Belton, Acting City Manager Clerk of Council Nykesha Jackson, CMC 2. PURPOSE: a. Disposition of properties located at 29 and 41 South Union Street and 801 South Adams Street There was discussion among City Council and staff. Mayor Myers made a motion to approve the recommendation of the Acting City Manager and Director of Economic Development and to move forward with the disposition. The motion was seconded by Council Member Moore. On roll call vote, voting yes: Hill, Moore, Parham and Myers; Voting No: Wilson-Smith; Abstain: Coleman; Absent: Hart 3.
