SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL GEORGE FINA MUNICIPAL BUILDING - 314 EDMOND ROAD NORTHWEST Thursday, September 6, 2018 6:30pm MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilman Albert Gliechmann, Councilman John Brown, Councilman Kevan Blasdel, Mayor Pro Tem Bobby Williamson, and Councilwoman Melissa Ashford. ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: City Clerk Jennifer Smith, City Manager, Jason Orr and OMAG council Matt Love. 1. CALL TO ORDER - Mayor Pro Tem Bobby Williamson called the meeting to order at 6:29pm. 2. ROLL CALL - City Clerk Jennifer Smith called roll and a quorum was present. 3. HEARING OF CITIZENS - Topics to include those items not listed in the agenda. 4. CONSENT AGENDA - All items on the consent agenda are non-controversial and may be approved by one motion for items. a) Approval of a change order for Sara Road Construction project. Mayor Pro Tem Bobby Williamson pulled item a. 5. NEW BUSINESS – a) “New business,” as used herein, shall mean any matter not known about or which could not have been reasonably foreseen prior to the time of posting. (25 O.S. 311a(9)) None 6. EXECUTIVE SESSION- a) Discussion on pending investigation, claim or action with the City Attorney as provided for in 25 O.SS, section 307 (b)(4). Councilman Albert Gliechmann made a motion to recess to an Executive Session at 6:30pm. Motion was seconded by Councilman John Brown. The Vote was: AYE: Councilman Albert Gliechmann, Councilman John Brown, Councilman Kevan Blasdel, Mayor Pro Tem Bobby Williamson, and Councilwoman Melissa Ashford. NAY: None Councilman John Brown made a motion to reconvene to the City Council meeting at 6:55pm. Motion was seconded by Councilman Kevan Blasdel. The Vote was: AYE: Councilman Albert Gliechmann, Councilman John Brown, Councilman Kevan Blasdel, Mayor Pro Tem Bobby Williamson, and Councilwoman Melissa Ashford. NAY: None Councilman John Brown made a motion to approve a settlement as discussed in the session and directed OMAG Attorney Matt Love and City Manager Jason Orr to proceed with prepared documentation. Motion was seconded by Councilman Kevan Blasdel. The Vote was: AYE: Councilman John Brown, Councilman Kevan Blasdel, Mayor Pro Tem Bobby Williamson, and Councilwoman Melissa Ashford. NAY: None ABSTAIN: Councilman Albert Gliechmann 7. ADJOURN – Councilman Albert Gliechmann made a motion to close the City Council meeting at 7:02pm. Motion was seconded by Councilman Melissa Ashford.
