SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL GEORGE FINA MUNICIPAL BUILDING - 314 EDMOND ROAD NORTHWEST Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 6:00 PM MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Kurt Mayabb, Mayor Pro Tem Kevan Blasdel, Councilman Ron Cardwell, Councilman Jonathon Hisey and Councilman Melissa Ashford ABSENT: Councilman Austin Redus STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Jason Orr, City Clerk Jennifer Smith, PW Director Doug Baustert, Fire Chief Andy Logan and City Attorney Michael Segler. 1. CALL TO ORDER - Mayor Pro-Tem Kevan Blasdel called the meeting to order at 6:06pm 2. ROLL CALL - City Clerk Jennifer Smith called roll and a quorum was present 3. BUSINESS ITEMS – a) Discussion, consideration and possible action of road repair throughout the whole city. Councilman Ron Cardwell made a motion to direct staff to put together some sections of roads in areas where there are severe clusters of potholes. Then put together a bid document that can be bid on by contractors for repairs with the budget of $400,000. It was seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Kevan Blasdel VOTE WAS: AYE: Mayor Pro Tem Kevan Blasdel, Councilman Ron Cardwell, Councilman Jonathon Hisey, Councilman Melissa Ashford NAY: None 4. EXECUTIVE SESSION (a) Discussion and consideration of the City Manager’s Compensation and performance as required by contract. [25 OS Sec. 307(b)(1)] Councilman Melissa Ashford made a motion to adjourn to executive session at 6:29pm. It was seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Kevan Blasdel. VOTE WAS: AYE: Mayor Pro Tem Kevan Blasdel, Councilman Ron Cardwell, Councilman Jonathon Hisey, Councilman Melissa Ashford NAY: None MOTION TO RECONVENE TO THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING . Mayor Kurt Mayabb reconvened the meeting at 7:47pm. No action was taken in executive session. 5.
