ABSENT: Commissioner Bryan Seale and Commissioner Jeff Rycroft
STAFF PRESENT: Community Development Director Scott Garnand, City Secretary
Arielle Garcia and City Attorney Michael Segler.
1. CALL TO ORDER- Vice Chairman craig Edison called the meeting to order at 6:01pm
Business item 6. A Swearing in of Patrick Scott for Planning Commission moved up.
2. ROLL CALL- City Secretary Arielle Garcia called roll and a quorum was present
3. CONSENT AGENDA- All items on the consent agenda are non-controversial and may be
approved by one motion for items.
a. Approval of Minutes for the Planning Commission meeting held May 3rd 2021.
Commissioner Steve Bottkol made a motion to approve items of the consent agenda. Commissioner Patrick
Scott seconded the motion.
VOTE WAS:
AYE: Vice Chair Craig Edison, Commissioner Steve Bottkol,
and Commissioner Patrick Scott.
NAY: None

Vice Chair Craig Edison made a motion to nominate Commissioner Steve Bottkol for Chairman of the Planning
Commission. Commissioner Steve Bottkol seconded the motion.
VOTE WAS:
AYE: Vice Chair Craig Edison, Commissioner Steve Bottkol,
and Commissioner Patrick Scott.
NAY: None
c) Conduct a Public Hearing on a formal rezone application requested by Michael Mason at the
following described property: A TRACT OF PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN THE
NORTH HALF (N/2) OF GOVERNMENT LOT ONE 1 (SECTION NINETEEN (19),
TOWNSHIP FOURTEEN (14) NORTH, RANGE FIVE (5) WEST OF THE INDIAN

Community Development Director Scott Garnand addressed the commission
Salley LLC, has requested a part of Cornman Properties 1 to be zoned C-2. This was subdivided in
2004. We do not have documentation showing the reason, but there lots are currently utilized as Commercial
Properties.
Chairman Steve Bottkol made a motion to approve business item d. Motion was seconded by commissioner
Patrick Scott.
