AGENDA SUMMARY- PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING George Fina Building 314 Edmond Rd Northwest Monday, July 1st, 2024 at 6:00pm MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Patrick Scott, Vice Chairman Kyle Cornman, Commissioner Jennifer Ochoa, Commissioner James Fickes and Commissioner Brock Garrison ABSENT: NONE STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Josh Williams, Community Development Director Julie Steele, City Attorney Daniel McClure, Fire Chief Andy Logan, and City Secretary Morgan Clark 1. CALL TO ORDER- Chairman Patrick Scott called the meeting to order at 6:00pm 2. ROLL CALL- City Secretary Morgan Clark called roll and a quorum was present. 3. CONSENT AGENDA- All items on the consent agenda are non-controversial and may be approved by one motion for items. A. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes on June 3rd, 2024. Vice Chairman Kyle Cornman made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from June 3rd, 2024. Commissioner Brock Garrison seconded this motion. VOTE WAS: AYE: Chairman Patrick Scott, Vice Chairman Kyle Cornman, Commissioner Jennifer Ochoa, Commissioner James Fickes, and Commissioner Brock Garrison NAY: NONE 4. HEARING OF CITIZENS- Topics to include those items listed in the agenda. NONE 5. BUSINESS ITEMS- Chairman Patrick Scott opened and closed the public hearing without objection A. Discussion, consideration, and possible action on an application by Piedmont Public Schools for two (2) Building Move Permits to relocate two (2) modular buildings from Piedmont Middle School at 823 2nd Street NW, to the Piedmont Intermediate School at 977 Washington Ave NW for the following described property: A TRACT OF LAND IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER (SW/4) OF SECTION THIRTY-TWO (32), TOWNSHIP FOURTEEN (14) NORTH, RANGE FIVE (5) WEST OF THE INDIAN MERIDIAN, CANADIAN COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: A#5-PT SOUTHWEST QUARTER (SW/4) BEGINNING 222.35’ WEST OF SOUTHEAST CORNER (SE/C); THENCE NORTH 777.467’ Vice Chairman Kyle Cornman made a motion to approve Item 5A. Commissioner Brock Garrison seconded this motion. VOTE WAS: AYE: Chairman Patrick Scott, Vice Chairman Kyle Cornman, Commissioner Jennifer Ochoa, Commissioner James Fickes, and Commissioner Brock Garrison NAY: NONE Chairman Patrick Scott opened the public hearing without objection. Ms. Julie Steele gave a staff report on the final plat map submittal. She stated that the final plat map application was incomplete. There are comments and corrections from Community Development, City Engineer, Fire Department, and Public Works that need to be addressed. Staff is recommending the item be tabled to give the developer time to address those comments and corrections. Detailed discussion was had amongst the Planning Commission and the applicant. Chairman Patrick Scott recessed the Planning Commission at 6:52PM. Chairman Patrick Scott reconvened the Planning Commission at 7:01PM. Discussion continued. Chairman Patrick Scott closed the public hearing without objection. B.
