CALL TO ORDER- Chairman Patrick Scott called the meeting to order at 6:00pm 2. ROLL CALL- City Secretary Morgan Clark called roll and a quorum was present. 3. CONSENT AGENDA- All items on the consent agenda are non-controversial and may be approved by one motion for items. A. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes of July 1st, 2024 B. Approval of Special Meeting Minutes of July 15th, 2024 C. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes of August 5th, 2024 Vice Chairman Kyle Cornman made a motion to approve Items A, B, and C. Commissioner Brock Garrison seconded this motion. VOTE WAS: AYE: Chairman Patrick Scott, Vice Chairman Kyle Cornman, Commissioner James Fickes, and Commissioner Brock Garrison NAY: NONE Commissioner Jennifer Ochoa entered the meeting at 6:01PM. 4. HEARING OF CITIZENS- Topics to include those items listed in the agenda. NONE 5. BUSINESS ITEMS- Chairman Patrick Scott opened and closed the public hearing without objection. A. Discussion, consideration, and possible action on a lot split application at 1432 Piedmont Road North. Community Development Director, Julie Steele gave a staff report. Staff recommends denial based on the additional traffic. Commissioners asked staff additional questions about the application. Chairman Patrick Scott closed the public hearing without objection. B. Discussion, consideration, and possible action on an application to amend The Haven I Planned Unit Development (PUD) at the following described property: A part of Section Twenty-Nine (29), Township Fourteen (14) North, Range Five (5) West of the Indian Meridian Canadian County, Oklahoma: Commencing at the Southeast Corner of said SE/4 SE/4; Thence S 89°32’36” W along the South line of said SE/4 Se/4 a distance of 832.86 feet to the point of beginning; Thence continuing S 89°32’36” W a distance of 495.15 feet to the Southwest Corner of the SE/4 SE/4; Thence N 00°05’32” E along the West line of the SE/4 SE/4 a distance of 1319.53 feet to the Northwest Corner of the SE/4 SE/4; Thence N 89°30’51” E along the North line of the SE/4 SE/4 a distance of 495.16 feet; Thence S 00°05’32” W a distance of 1319.78 feet to the point of beginning. Discussion amongst the commissioners took place. Chairman Patrick Scott made a motion table this item until the next meeting. No second. Motion died. Commissioner Brock Garrison made a motion to recommend denial. No second. Motion died. More discussion was had about the item. Vice Chairman Kyle Cornman made a motion to recommend denial. Commissioner Brock Garrison seconded this motion.
