MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE
MAYOR’S YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE HELD ON THURSDAY,
JANUARY 12, 2017 IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS LOCATED
AT 1360 N. NIELS HANSEN LANE, LAKESIDE, AZ 85929
A. Call to Order:
Vice-Chairman Bailee Babbitt called the meeting to order at 7:01 a.m.
Pledge of Allegiance:
Secretary Caroline Goode led the Pledge of Allegiance.

B.1 Minutes of Regular Meeting held on November 10, 2016
Member Natalie Campbell moved to approve the following minutes:
Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting, November 10,
2016
The motion was seconded by Vice-Chairman Bailee Babbitt and was carried with a
5-0 voice vote.
C. Old Business:
C.1 Minutes of Regular Meeting held on November 10, 2016
The annual Christmas Tree Lighting received a good report from the Committee.
The Youth Advisory Committee handed out gifts after children took pictures with
Santa as well as assisted with the raffle. Members discussed improvements upon
decorations, sound equipment, hot chocolate, and space for next year’s event.
D. New Business:
D.1 Review and Discussion Regarding the
Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee’s By-Laws
Members suggested and discussed necessary changes to the Committee’s By Laws
and will continue discussions at the next meeting.
D.2 Discussion Regarding Plans and Goals for the Upcoming Year
Discussed and will continue future discussions at next meeting to identify
Committees future Plans and Goals.

Vice-Chairman Bailee Babbitt called for public comments.
