MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE MAYOR’S YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE HELD ON THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 2019 IN THE PINETOP-LAKESIDE TOWN HALL LOCATED AT 325 W. WHITE MOUNTAIN BLVD., LAKESIDE, AZ 85929 A. Call to Order: Chairman Nate Campbell called the meeting to order At 7:09 a.m. Pledge of Allegiance: Nate Campbell led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: The following members were present: Olivia Everingham Member Rebekah James Secretary Elizabeth Rapacz Historian Joseph West Vice-Chairman Nate Campbell Chairman Also present: Malaina Spillman Recreation Coordinator Keith Johnson Town Manager Stephanie Irwin Mayor B. Minutes: B.1 Historian Rapacz moved to approve the following minutes: Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting March 7, 2019 The motion was seconded by Chairman Campbell and was carried with a 5-0 voice vote. C. Old Business: C.1 Discussion and Update on Easter Egg Hunt on April 20, 2019 Committee discussed The Bake Sale, helping the Easter bunny with kids, watching the prize baskets, and having a donation jar. Recreation Coordinator Spillman requested that the committee members that were going be there at 8:30 a.m. The Easter bunny would arrive at 10:30 a.m., and the hunt would begin at 11:00 a.m. Committee also discussed bringing a canopy, and Town Manager Johnson and Recreation Coordinator Spillman informed committee that they would supply one. C.2 Discussion to Solicit Letter of Interest for 2019-2020 MYAC Membership Recreation Coordinator informed committee that she needed their letter of interest by the end of the month. D. New Business D.1 Discussion and Update on Project RAADR Vice-Chairman West informed committee that he had emailed Dr. Wright numerous times with no response. D.2 Discussion and Update on Jack Barker Memorial Park Construction Recreation Coordinator Spillman informed committee that they would start laying pavers that day. They had just finished being engraved. D.3 Discussion on May Meeting with Interviews of New MYAC candidates Committee discussed getting packets to counselors, and Recreation Coordinator informed the committee she would send out the applications to various locations and encouraged committee members to spread the word. E. Public Comments: Chairman Nate Campbell called for public comments. Keith Johnson informed the committee that Dr. Wright has a powerpoint that he uses to brag about Blue Ridge for the override, and Mr. Johnson noticed that many MYAC members were in that powerpoint. With this he congratulated the committee. F.
