MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE MAYOR’S YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE HELD ON THURSDAY, MARCH 7, 2019 IN THE PINETOP-LAKESIDE TOWN HALL LOCATED AT 325 W. WHITE MOUNTAIN BLVD., LAKESIDE, AZ 85929 A. Call to Order: Chairman Nate Campbell called the meeting to order At 7:05 a.m. Pledge of Allegiance: Nate Campbell led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: The following members were present: Olivia Everingham Member Rebekah James Secretary Skyla Rigg Member Elizabeth Rapaz Historian Joseph West Vice-Chairman Nate Campbell Chairman Landon Rigg Member Also present: Malaina Spillman Recreation Coordinator Keith Johnson Town Manager Stephanie Irwin Mayor B. Minutes: B.1 Vice-Chairman West moved to approve the following minutes: Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting February 14, 2019 The motion was seconded by Secretary James and was carried with a 7-0 voice vote. C. Old Business: C.1 Discussion and Review Presentation of RAADR to Pinetop-Lakeside Town Council on March 7, 2019, Rescheduled from February 21, 2019 Chairman Campbell informed the committee that he had emailed the Superintendent of Blue Ridge High School to set up a meeting, and he had not yet responded. Recreation Coordinator Spillman informed the committee that the Town Council meeting to present the RAADR project had been postponed to March 7, 2019. The meeting would start at 6:00 pm and MYAC would end up presenting at about 6:20 pm.  C.2 Discussion to Solicit Letter of Interest for 2019-2020 MYAC Membership Recreation Coordinator informed committee that she had made the application packets and would send them out to the counselors the next day. Also, the letters of interest for current members would have to be submitted by April 30, 2019. D. New Business D.1 Discussion and Legal Action on Easter Egg Hunt April 20, 2019 Committee discussed doing a bake sale fundraiser during the town’s Easter Egg Hunt to raise funds for the next project. Historian Rapacz moved to approve the following: Doing a Bake Sale during for a fundraiser during the Pinetop-Lakeside Easter Egg Hunt on April 20, 2019 The motion was seconded by Chairman Campbell and was carried with a 7-0 voice vote. Committee also decided to help out wherever they were needed. D.2 Discussion on White Mountain Youth Basketball Tournament Recreation Coordinator Spillman informed committee that volunteers were need for the White Mountain Youth Basketball Tournament on Saturday, February 16, 2019. The event started at 8:00 am, and all volunteers would receive community service hours. E. Public Comments: Chairman Nate Campbell called for public comments. No public comments were offered. F.
