MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE MAYOR’S YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE HELD ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2019 IN THE PINETOP-LAKESIDE TOWN HALL LOCATED AT 325 W. WHITE MOUNTAIN BLVD., LAKESIDE, AZ 85929 A. Call to Order: Chairman Nate Campbell called the meeting to order At 7:08 a.m. Pledge of Allegiance: Nate Campbell led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: The following members were present: Keala Bratsch Member Olivia Everingham Member Rebekah James Secretary Skyla Rigg Member Elizabeth Rapaz Historian Joseph West Vice-Chairman Nate Campbell Chairman Landon Rigg Member Josiah Goode Treasurer Also present: Malaina Spillman Recreation Coordinator Keith Johnson Town Manager B. Minutes: B.1 Vice-Chairman West moved to approve the following minutes: Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting January 10, 2018 The motion was seconded by Member Bratsch and was carried with a 9-0 voice vote. C. Old Business: C.1 Review and Update Project RAADR Chairman Campbell informed the committee that Ms. Fraze said that she would email Mr. Wright, and Chairman Campbell decided to email Dr. Wright as well. Committee discussed further process, and that the security guard at Blue Ridge High School, Robert, could be an Admin for RAADR. D. New Business D.1 Discussion and Review on Presentation of RAADAR to Pinetop-Lakeside Town Council on February 21, 2019 Recreation Coordinator Spillman told the committee member that could attend that the RAADR project would be discussed from about 6:30 to 6:45 during the meeting, and to be at the town hall by 6:00. Chairman Campbell and Vice-Chairman West were assigned to present, and Historian Rapacz and Member Everingham were told that they should attend seeing as how they saw the original presentation. D.2 Discussion and Update on Jack Barker Park Progress Recreation Coordinator Spillman shared that little construction had been completed due to the frozen ground the past couple of weeks. She reported that the benches had come in and the plaques would be ordered that day. The park was, at the time, scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2019. With the leftover money from fundraisers for the memorial, the committee decided to use the remaining money for benches. D.3 Discussion to Solicit Letters of Interest for 2019-2020 MYAC Membership Recreation Coordinator Spillman informed the committee that at the next meeting, they would approve the letter of interest and then begin to send it out to Blue Ridge High School and Junior High councilors. E. Public Comments: Chairman Nate Campbell called for public comments. No public comments were offered. F.
