MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE MAYOR’S YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE HELD ON THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 2019 IN THE PINETOP-LAKESIDE TOWN HALL LOCATED AT 325 W. WHITE MOUNTAIN BLVD., LAKESIDE, AZ 85929 A. Call to Order: Member Olivia Everingham called the meeting to order At 7:08 a.m. Pledge of Allegiance: Olivia Everingham led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: The following members were present: Olivia Everingham Member Paris Poppen Member Megan Lawler Member Quinton Lawler Member Anneliese Goode Member Also present: Malaina Spillman Recreation Coordinator Keith Johnson Town Manager B. Minutes: B.1 Member Lawler moved to approve the following minutes: Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting May 9, 2019 The motion was seconded by Member Everingham and was carried with a 5-0 voice vote. C. Old Business: - None D. New Business D.1 Discussion, Vote and Legal Action Regarding Election of FY2019-2020 MYAC Officers. (Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Historian) Committee voted on officers for the FY2019-2020 MYAC Year. For the position of Chairperson:  Member Everingham nominated Skyla Rigg. Member M. Lawler seconded the motion. There was a unanimous vote and with no other nominations, Skyla Rigg was announced Chairperson of the FY2019-2020 MYAC year. For position of Vice-Chairperson: Member Everingham nominated Rebekah James. Member M. Lawler seconded the motion. There was a unanimous vote and with no other nominations, Rebekah James was announced Vice-Chairperson. For the position of Secretary: Member Everingham nominated Megan Lawler. Member M. Lawler seconded the motion. There was a unanimous vote and with no other nominations, Megan Lawler was announced Secretary. For the position of Treasurer: Member Everingham nominated Paris Poppen. Member M. Lawler seconded the motion. There was a unanimous vote and with no other nominations, Megan Lawler was announced Secretary. For the position of Historian: Member Everingham nominated Olivia Everingham. Member M. Lawler seconded the motion. There was a unanimous vote and with no other nominations, Olivia Everingham was announced Secretary.  D.2 Review and Discussion on Attendance at the 2019 League Annual Conference at JW Marriott Star Pass in Tucson on August 20-21. Recreation Coordinator Spillman gave committee information on the League Conference and encouraged all Members to attend. Recreation Coordinator Spillman as the Members to give let her know if they are able to attend by July 5th. D.3 Discussion and Legal Action Regarding MYAC FY2019-2020 meeting schedule including MYAC Retreat. Recreation Coordinator Spillman gave the committee the option of July 18th or July 25th for the Annual MYAC Retreat. Dates were discussed amongst members. Member M. Lawler moved to approve July 25, 2019 as the date for the 2019 MYAC Retreat. The motion was seconded by Member Q. Lawler. The motion carried unanimously with a 5-0 voice vote. E. Public Comments: Member Everingham called for public comments. No public comments were offered. F.
