MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE
MAYOR’S YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE HELD ON
THURSDAY, JANUARY 9, 2020 IN THE PINETOP-LAKESIDE TOWN
HALL LOCATED AT 325 W. WHITE MOUNTAIN BLVD.,
LAKESIDE, AZ 85929
A. Call to Order: Chairman Skyla Rigg called the meeting to order
At 7:05 a.m.
Pledge of Allegiance: Chairman Skyla Rigg led the Pledge of Allegiance.

B. Minutes:
B.1 Member Landon Rigg moved to approve the following minutes:
Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting January 9, 2020
The motion was seconded my Member Flake and was carried with a 9-0 voice vote
C. Old Business:
C.1 Review, Update and Discussion of project RAADR and presentation to school
They are not responding so we are going to find a new app that is very similar
C.2 Discussion on assistance for Youth Basketball on Saturday, January 11, 2020
Help sign ups at the BR elementary at 8:00
D. New Business
D.1 Discussion and Legal Action Regarding Kindness Campaign and Speakers
Inviting Mrs. Montoya to our next meeting. Also, we are trying to find local
speakers that would be willing to speak at an assembly for the school.
D.2 Discussion and Legal Action Regarding Training for Kindness Campaign
Counselors
Member Flake moved to approve the Kindness Campaign Training. The motion was
seconded by Member Landon Rigg and was carried by a 9-0 voice vote.
D.3 Discussion and Legal Action Regarding Anti-Bullying Apps
SKOOMUM cost $250 per year but the owners of the app could not send speakers. We
created a sub committee that includes Member James, Member Landon Rigg, Member Quinton
Lawler, and Member Skyla Rigg.
E. Public Comments:
Head Chair Rigg called for public comments.
Recreation Coordinators Spillman asked us to start thinking about recruiting new
members.
F. Adjournment:
There being no further business at this time, the meeting was adjourned at 7:36 a.m.
