MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE
MAYOR’S YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE HELD ON
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2020 IN THE PINETOP-LAKESIDE TOWN
HALL LOCATED AT 325 W. WHITE MOUNTAIN BLVD.,
LAKESIDE, AZ 85929
A. Call to Order: Chairman Skyla Rigg called the meeting to order
At 7:04 a.m.
Pledge of Allegiance: Chairman Skyla led the Pledge of Allegiance.

B. Minutes:
B.1 Member Flake moved to approve the following minutes:
Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting February 13, 2020
The motion was seconded my Member Quinton Lawler and was carried with a 9-0 voice
vote.
C. Old Business:
C.1 Review, Update and Discussion of project RAADR and presentation to school
They never responded so we are no longer pursuing project RAADR.
C.2 Discussion and Legal Action Regarding Kindness Campaign and Speakers.
STOPit App has options for speakers at reportbullying.com, Member James will
research further.
C.3 Discussion and Update Regarding Training for Kindness Campaign Counselors.
February date is full, members need to register for March or April date.
D. New Business
D.1 Discussion, Presentation and Legal Action Regarding Anti-Bullying Apps
STOPit and SKOOMIN
The committee did their presentation for Mr. Webb and Mrs. Montoya who both
agreed that the STOPit App was better suited for the needs of the school. Member Quinton
Lawler moved to approve the launching of the STOPit app and presenting it to Dr. Wright. The
motion was seconded by Member Landon Rigg and was carried with a 9-0 voice vote.
D.2 Discussion and Update Regarding Upcoming Town Events: Tillman Honor Run
and Easter Egg Hunt.
Tillman run on April 4th and the Easter Egg Hunt is on April 11th. We would do a
fundraiser to help raise money for MYAC.
E. Public Comments:
Chair Rigg called for public comments.
Mayor Irwin mentioned all the scholarship opportunities that are approaching for the
seniors through Blue Ridge Scholarship Foundation.
F. Adjournment:
There being no further business at this time, the meeting was adjourned at 7:39 a.m.
