MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE MAYOR’S YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE HELD ON THURSDAY, May 11, 2023 IN THE PINETOP-LAKESIDE TOWN HALL LOCATED 325 W. WHITE MOUNTAIN BLVD., LAKESIDE, AZ 85929 A. Call to Order: Chairman Rigg called the meeting to order at 7:05 a.m. Pledge of Allegiance: Chairman Rigg led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: The following members were present: Parker Rigg Chairman Morgan Eddy Vice Chairman Grace Smithson Treasurer Brooke Horne Secretary Sienna Grzelak Historian Rain Dimaliwat Member Jesse Stroup Member Joe Grzelak Member River Rigg Member Also present: Mackenzie Valichnac Deputy Town Clerk Malaina Spillman Assistant to the Public Works Director Stephanie Irwin Mayor Keith Johnson Town Manager B. Consent Agenda: B.1 Minutes of MYAC meeting held on April 13, 2023. Member Eddy moved to approve the following minutes: Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting April 13, 2023. The motion was seconded by Member Smithson and carried unanimously with a 9-0 vote. C. New Business: C.1 Discuss and Review Architectural Barriers Art Project. Some MYAC members still need to submit their ABA complaint at https://www.access- board.gov/enforcement/. Mackenzie Valichnac sent an email on May 9th will all resources to MYAC members.  C.2 Interview, Discussion and Legal Action Regarding New MYAC Member. Jack Woods was interviewed by MYAC members. Brooke Horne moved to approve the following minutes: Jack Woods will be the newest MYAC member The motion was seconded by Member Eddy and carried unanimously with a 9-0 vote. C.3 Discussion Regarding Upcoming Events: White Mountain Balloon Festival and Movies in the Park. The balloon festival will be held on June 23-25, 2023 at the Mountain Meadow Complex. MYAC members will wear dinosaur and unicorn costumes on June 24th. Also, future Movies in the Park events will now be moved to Jack Barker Park. C.4 Discussion and Legal Action regarding Summer Schedule and MYAC Retreat On June 14th from 10am-1pm, there will be MYAC retreat. The retreat will go over MYAC’s bylaws, plan for next year’s project, and train those in new leadership positions. D. Public Comments: There were no public comments. F.
