TOWN OF PITTSBORO BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NOVEMBER 18, 2022 RECESSED TO NOVEMBER 21 , 2022 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES PAGE 1 OF 2 TOWN OF PITTSBORO The Pittsboro Board of Commissioners met in Special Meeting on Tuesday, November 18, 2022, at 2:30 pm in the conference room at Chatham County Agricultural Center with Mayor Cindy Perry presiding . The meeting was called to order at 2:30 pm. ELECTED TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT: Mayor Cindy S. Perry , Mayor Pro Tern Pamela Baldwin, Commissioner John Bonitz, Commissioner Jay Farrell , Commissioner James Vose and Commissioner Kyle Shipp. TOWN STAFF PRESENT: HR Director Jennifer Eakes. Commissioner Shipp made a motion to enter Closed Session pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 143- 318.11 . (a)(6), seconded by Commissioner Bonitz. Vote: Aye-5 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. CLOSED SESSION The Board of Commissioners wish to hold a Closed Session pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 143- 318 .11 . (a) (6) in reference to hiring a Town Manager. Commissioner Bonitz made a motion to recess closed session and resume on Monday November 21, 2022, at the Hillsboro Street office, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Baldwin. Vote: Aye-5 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. RECESS The Pittsboro Board of Commissioners met in Special Meeting on Tuesday, November 21, 2022, at 3:00 pm in the Hillsboro Street office with Mayor Cindy Perry presiding. The meeting was called to order at 3:09 pm . ELECTED TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT: Mayor Cindy S. Perry, Mayor Pro Tern Pamela Baldwin, Commissioner John Bonitz, Commissioner Jay Farrell , Commissioner James Vose and Commissioner Kyle Shipp. TOWN STAFF PRESENT: Town Clerk Carrie Bailey. Mayor Pro Tem Baldwin made a motion of continuation of Closed Session pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 143-318.11.
