TOWN OF PITTSBORO BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NOVEMBER 30-DECEMBER 7, 2022 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES-CLOSED PAGE 1 OF 2 TOWN OF PITTSBORO The Pittsboro Board of Commissioners met in Special Meeting on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 9:00 am in the conference room at Chatham County Agricultural Center with Mayor Cindy Perry presiding. The meeting was called to order at 8:56 am. ELECTED TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT: Mayor Cindy S. Perry, Mayor Pro Tern Pamela Baldwin, Commissioners John Benitz, Jay Farrell , Kyle Shipp and James Vose . TOWN STAFF PRESENT: HR Director Jennifer Eakes and Town Clerk Carrie Bailey. CLOSED SESSION Commissioner Bonitz made a motion to enter Closed Session pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 143- 318.11. (a)(6) pertaining to Town Manager selection process, seconded by Commissioner Shipp. Vote: Aye-5 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Shipp made a motion to recess until 2:15pm, seconded by Commissioner Bonitz. Vote: Aye-5 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. At 2:59pm Commissioner Vose made a motion to resume Closed Session, seconded by Commissioner Farrell. Vote: Aye-5 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. At 4:52pm, Commissioner Bonitz made a motion to recess Closed Session and resume on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at 5:00pm prior to the Budget Meeting, seconded by Commissioner Vose. Vote: Aye-5 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. RECESS The Pittsboro Board of Commissioners met in Special Meeting on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 5:00 pm in the conference room at Chatham County Agricultural Center with Mayor Cindy Perry presiding . (a)(6) pertaining to Town Manager selection process, seconded by Commissioner Vose. Vote: Aye-3 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Pro Tern Baldwin arrived at 5:52pm. Commissioner Bonitz made a motion to exit Closed Session, seconded by Commissioner Shipp. Vote: Aye-4 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously.
