Questions /Comments 9. Adjournment a. Next Meeting: November 9, 2022 Notes ● Call to order: 7:14pm ● Josh motioned for approval of September 2022 minutes; Malicia seconded. Approved minutes. Rural Transformation Grant:  2 ● $950k maximum grant, application is due 11.1.22 ● Katy asked Surface design company to provide updated spec sheets ● Application will include public parking needs, sidewalk, path throughout, privacy wall at bordering residence ● Theresa/Planning Department, will work with Historical Association to provide input for grant and work with contracted grant-writing firm ● Malicia encouraged a good storywriter participate with the grant to make it compelling ● Jan 2023 award is given, March 2023 is next opportunity to apply ● Katy will ask Hobbs for easement to property for Salisbury St. access ● Katy held off ordering sign/trash cans due to grant application Pittsboro Fall Festival: ● Theresa/Planning Department has secured the booth space for the Town; Katy will send park marketing materials; PARAB will coordinate with Theresa for setup/takedown/booth staffing during event PARAB Next Steps: ● Opportunities will increase with new event coordinator hiring, no selection made yet ● Katy asked PARAB members to bring 5 goals for 2023 to November meeting ● Patti moved to amend PARAB meeting start time to 6pm on 2nd Wednesday of the month; Malicia 2nd.
