CITY OF POCATELLO, IDAHO COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MAY 21, 2012 Mayor Brian Blad called the Community Meeting to give the citizens of Pocatello an opportunity to meet and hear from the final Police Chief candidates to order at 5:06:13 PM 5:06 PM. Council members W. James Johnston and Gary Moore were present. Council member Eva Johnson Nye arrived at 5:20 PM. Council member Craig Cooper arrived at 5:45 PM. Council members Roger Bray and Steve Brown were not present. A quorum of the Council was established at 5:45 PM. Police Chief candidates Scott Marchand, 5:17:38 PM Jerry Mines, 5:23:32 PM Jim Peterson, 5:34:11 PM Michael Stayner, and 5:46:21 PM John Walker provided information on their qualifications for Police Chief. They also discussed what they could bring to the Pocatello Police Department. Following their introductory remarks Mayor Blad stated that the candidates would mingle with attendees in order to answer individual questions.
