CITY OF POCATELLO, IDAHO CITY COUNCIL MEETING - BUDGET DEVELOPMENT MARCH 2, 2017 Mayor Brian Blad called the City Council meeting for budget development to order at 9:** a.m. Council members present were Heidi Adamson, Roger Bray, Steve Brown, Jim Johnston, Gary Moore and Michael L. Joyce Stroschein, Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer gave an overview of a new method to guide Council and staff through the budget presentation process. Ms. Stroschein feels the new budget process will assist the Council to quickly identify revenues, department service levels and expenditures to build an effective budget strategy that meets State Code requirements and the City’s needs. Heather Buchanan, Human Resources Director, gave an overview of City Employee Pay Plan Options for the Council to consider for the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget.
