CITY OF POCATELLO, IDAHO CITY COUNCIL EXECUTIVE SESSION AUGUST 7, 2017 An Executive Session of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Brian Blad at 9:02 a.m. in the Paradice Conference Room at City Hall. Council members present were Heidi Adamson, Steve Brown, Jim Johnston, Gary Moore and Michael L. Orr. Council member Roger Bray was excused. A motion was made by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Moore, to convene into Executive Session in accordance with Idaho Code Section 74-206(l)(e) To consider preliminary negotiations involving matters of trade or commerce in which the governing body is in competition with governing bodies in other states or nations. Upon roll call, those voting in favor were Johnston, Moore, Adamson, Brown and Orr. In addition to the Mayor and Council members, the following staff members were in attendance: Ruth Whitworth, City Clerk; Joyce Stroschein, Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer; Kirk Bybee, Chief Civil Deputy Attorney; Melanie Gygli, Planning and Development Services Director; Jeff Mansfield, Public Works Director; Jon Herrick, Water Pollution Control, Superintendent; and Skyler Allen, Water Engineer. Also in attendance were Buck Swaney, Millennial Development Partners; and Ken Pope, Portneuf Development LLC. Council discussed topics within the parameters of the above statute.
