CITY OF POCATELLO, IDAHO CITY COUNCIL EXECUTIVE SESSION APRIL 12, 2018 An Executive Session of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Brian Blad at 11:35 a.m. in the Paradice Conference Room at City Hall. Council members present were Heidi Adamson, Roger Bray, Rick Cheatum, Jim Johnston, Linda Leeuwrik and Beena Mannan. A motion was made by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Ms. Adamson, to convene into Executive Session in accordance with Idaho Code Sections 74-206(1)(f) to communicate with legal counsel for the public agency to discuss the legal ramifications of and legal options for pending litigation, or controversies not yet being litigated but imminently likely to be litigated. The mere presence of legal counsel at an executive session does not satisfy this requirement; and Idaho Code 74-206(1)(b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student. Upon roll call, those voting in favor were Johnston, Adamson, Bray, Cheatum, Leeuwrik and Mannan. In addition to the Mayor and Council members, Ruth Whitworth, City Clerk; Jared Johnson, City Attorney; Kirk Bybee, Chief Civil Deputy Attorney; Andrea Henderson, Deputy Risk Manager; Jeff Mansfield, Public Works Director; Sarah A. Klahn, Esquire representing White and Jankowski was in attendance by telephone. Heather Buchanan, Human Resource Director; and Logan McDougall, Video Services Director; joined the meeting at 1:04 p.m. Ms. Henderson was excused at 12:25 p.m. Conference call with Ms. Klahn ended at 12:25 p.m. at which time Mr. Bybee and Mr. Mansfield were excused. Ms. Buchanan and Mr. McDougall joined the meeting at 1:04 p.m. Council discussed various issues within the parameters of the above statutes.
