Award a Contract to Interwest Consulting Group, Inc. for Water Engineering Services for the City of Pomona It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions: 1) Approve a three year agreement with Interwest Consulting Group, Inc. in the amount of $983,580 for engineering plan review consulting services, with two one-year renewal options; and, 2) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the agreement and any extensions, subsequent changes or amendments thereto, on behalf of the City, subject to review and approval as to form by the City Attorney. 10. Execution of Agreements for the Continuation of the City Lot Remediation Environmental Cleanup Project It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions: 1) Adopt the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 2022-213 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $1,660,000 OF REFUSE FUND RESERVES TO THE “CITY LOT REMEDIATION,” PROJECT NO. 418-2590-XXXXX-71021 2) Approve a three-year agreement with two one-year renewal options with EnSafe, Inc. in the amount of $1,510,000 for the continuation of the soil vapor extraction cleanup, groundwater analysis, and groundwater cleanup; 3) Approve the allocation of $98,426 for oversight services provided by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) in FY 2022-23 which will be processed as an amendment to PO200727; 4) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the EnSafe agreement and any amendments on behalf of the City, subject to review and approval as to form by the City Attorney; and, 5) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the Voluntary Cleanup Agreement amendment with DTSC on behalf of the City. Approval of Goddess Award to Community Member, California State Senator Connie Leyva It is recommended that the City Council approve the Goddess Award to community member, California State Senator Connie Leyva for her dedication and continuous years of service to the City of Pomona. 14.
