There will be no in-person public meeting location. D. PUBLIC COMMENT 1. At this time, the general public is invited to address the Cultural Arts Commission concerning any items that are not listed on the agenda, which are not public hearings, or other items under the jurisdiction of the Cultural Arts Commission. Comments from the public of any non agenda items will be limited to three (3) minutes in accordance with City policy. 2. Any applicant or member of the public wishing to speak on any item that is listed on the agenda is requested to adhere to the following protocol procedures/guidelines: a) When called upon, the person shall state his /her name and address for the record, and, if speaking for an organization or other group, identify the organization or group represented. Whenever any group of persons wishes to address the Cultural Arts Commission on the same subject matter, the Chairperson may, at his /her discretion, request that the group choose a spokesperson to address the Commission. b) All remarks should be addressed to the Cultural Arts Commission as a whole, and not to individual Commissioners. Questions, if any, should be directed to the presiding Chairperson who will determine whether, or in what manner an answer will be provided. 3. OLD BUSINESS 1. Strategic Planning Staff and Ad-Hoc Committee will provide an update on the Strategic Plan and Project Priority List, including a recap of a committee meeting held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. H. NEW BUSINESS 1. Request for Proposals, School of Arts & Enterprise High School Mural Staff recommends the Cultural Arts Commission approve Request for Proposals, School of Arts & Enterprise High School, including an approved scope of work and budget. Activate Pomona and Temporary Art Permit Pathway Staff will provide an overview of “Activate Pomona,” a new permit pathway for economic recovery during COVID-19, which includes administrative permits for temporary art in the public realm. Staff is seeking Commission guidance on the review, approval, and appeal of any art-related permits issued through this program. 3. Public Art Registry Website Staff will share the Public Art Registry website, which is now available for public access through the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS) Portal. Staff is seeking Commission feedback on identifying missing information on various locations of public art. I. STAFF COMMUNICATION J.
