D. PUBLIC COMMENT: 1. At this time, the general public is invited to address the Cultural Arts Commission concerning any items that are not listed on the agenda, which are not public hearings, or other items under the jurisdiction of the Cultural Arts Commission. Comments from the public of any non agenda items will be limited to three (3) minutes in accordance with City policy. 2. Any applicant or member of the public wishing to speak on any item that is listed on the agenda is requested to adhere to the following protocol procedures/guidelines: a) When called upon, the person shall state his /her name and address for the record, and, if speaking for an organization or other group, identify the organization or group represented. Whenever any group of persons wishes to address the Cultural Arts Commission on the same subject matter, the Chairperson may, at his /her discretion, request that the group choose a spokesperson to address the Commission. Approval of Draft Cultural Arts Commission Action Minutes meeting of August 24, 2020 and September 8, 2020. Attachments: Draft CAC Action Minutes 8-24-2020 Draft CAC Action Minutes 9-8-2020 F. PUBLIC HEARING: G. OLD BUSINESS: H. NEW BUSINESS: 1. 2020 Chalk Art Festival Staff will facilitate a discussion on planning for the 2020 Chalk Art Festival in the context of the outbreak of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). 2. Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Stakeholder List Staff will facilitate a discussion on the creation of a BIPOC Stakeholder List as part of community engagement related to the administration of the Art in Public Places Program and Public Art Fund, as indicated in Goal 3.3 (Equity) of the CAC 2020-2025 Action Plan. I. STAFF COMMUNICATION: Staff will provide an update on the Temporary Art Pilot Program, Millard Sheets Fountain Restoration, Gilbert Magu Lujan Mural, School of Arts and Enterprises Mural RFP, and Dia de los Puercos Mural. J. COMMISSIONER COMMUNICATION: ADJOURNMENT: The City of Pomona Cultural Arts Commission is hereby adjourned to the next regular meeting of October 26, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. to be held virtually via Zoom.
