1) Resolution adopting SEQR determination for proposed LL 1-2019, A Local Law authorizing a property tax levy in
excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law Section 3-C

NEW BUSINESS/DISCUSSION:
ADJOURNMENT
VILLAGE OF PORT DICKINSON
RESOLUTION ADOPTING LOCAL LAW NO. 1 OF THE YEAR 2019
WHEREAS, a resolution was duly adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Port Dickinson for a public
hearing to be held at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th day of February, 2019 by said Board at Village Hall, 786 Chenango Street,
Binghamton, New York to hear all interested parties on a proposed local law entitled “A LOCAL LAW AUTHORIZING
A PROPERTY TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE LIMIT ESTABLISHED IN GENERAL MUNICIPAL LAW §3-C”;
and
WHEREAS notice of said public hearing was duly advertised in the Press & Sun-Bulletin, the official newspaper
of the Village, and posted on the Village Clerk’s signboard; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Part 617 of the implementing regulations of the State Environmental Quality Review
Act, it has been determined by the Village Board that adoption of the proposed Local Law does not constitute an “action”
as defined and can be considered without further regard to SEQRA; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board, after due deliberation, finds it in the best interest of the Village to adopt said
Local Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Port Dickinson hereby adopts said Local Law as
Local Law No. 1 of the year 2019 entitled “A LOCAL LAW AUTHORIZING A PROPERTY TAX LEVY IN EXCESS
OF THE LIMIT ESTABLISHED IN GENERAL MUNICIPAL LAW §3-C”; and it is further
RESOLVED that the Village Clerk be and hereby is directed to enter said Local Law in the minutes of this meeting and to
enter said Local Law in the Local Law Book of the Village of Port Dickinson, and to give due notice of the adoption of said Local
Law to the Secretary of State; and it is further
RESOLVED that this resolution will take effect immediately upon filing with the Department of State.

correct and complete copy of a resolution duly adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Port Dickinson at a meeting thereof held
