Resolution scheduling a Public Hearing on 3/12/24 at 6:01PM on Proposed Local Law 2-2024 A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 62 OF THE VILLAGE CODE ENTITLED “WATER” 3. Resolution scheduling a Public Hearing on 3/12/24 at 6:02PM on Proposed Local Law 3-2024 A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 65 OF THE VILLAGE CODE ENTITLED “ZONING” REGARDING FEES ADJOURNMENT 3 VILLAGE OF PORT DICKINSON LOCAL LAW NO. __1_ OF 2024 A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 60 OF THE VILLAGE CODE ENTITLED “VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” Be it enacted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Port Dickinson as follows: Section 1. Section 60-37 of the Village Code entitled “Schedule X: No Parking at Any Time” shall be amended as follows: Delete: Name of Street Side Location All Village Streets Both In areas between sidewalks and blacktop of street Replace with: Name of Street Side Location All Village Streets Both Over curb or on any grass areas along streets Section 2. Section 60-38 of the Village Code entitled “Schedule XI: Standing Prohibited” shall be amended as follows: Delete: Name of Street Side Location Beacon Street Both From the south side of Kirkwood Avenue North to Chenango Street Replace with: Name of Street Side Location Beacon Street Both From the east side of Kirkwood Avenue North to Chenango Street Section 3. Separability The provisions of this local law are separable and if any provision, clause, sentence, subsection, word or part thereof is held illegal, invalid, unconstitutional, or inapplicable to any person or circumstance, such illegality, invalidity or unconstitutionality, or inapplicability shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions, clauses, sentences, subsections, words, or parts of this local law or their application to other persons or circumstances. It is hereby declared to be the legislative intent that this local law would have been adopted if such illegal, invalid, or unconstitutional provision, clause, sentence, subsection, word or part had not been included therein, and as if such person or circumstance, to which the local law or part thereof is held inapplicable, had been specifically exempt therefrom. Section 4. Repealer All Ordinances, Local Laws and parts thereof inconsistent with the Local Law are hereby repealed. 4 Section 5. Effective Date This local law shall take effect upon filing with the New York Secretary of State in accordance with Section 27 of the Municipal Home Rule Law. 5 VILLAGE OF PORT DICKINSON LOCAL LAW NO. _2__ OF 2024 A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 62 OF THE VILLAGE CODE ENTITLED “WATER” Be it enacted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Port Dickinson as follows: Section 1. Section 62-5A of the Village Code entitled “Water meters” shall be amended as follows: A. All water service shall be metered, and no more than one (1) meter may be installed on any one (1) service. Section 2. Section 62-7A of the Village Code entitled “Unmetered use” shall be amended as follows: A. Use of water directly from a hydrant in the construction of any building before the installation of a meter is not permitted. Contractors and other persons must supply their own water source. Section 2. Separability The provisions of this local law are separable and if any provision, clause, sentence, subsection, word or part thereof is held illegal, invalid, unconstitutional, or inapplicable to any person or circumstance, such illegality, invalidity or unconstitutionality, or inapplicability shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions, clauses, sentences, subsections, words, or parts of this local law or their application to other persons or circumstances. Section 65-36 of the Village Code entitled “Permit fees” shall be amended as follows: A fee may be charged on all applications or appeals for building permits, use and area variance applications, special permits, and site plans. The amount of such fee shall be set by resolution of the Village Board. Section 2. Section 65-41 of the Village Code entitled “Fees for special permits and variances” shall be re- titled and amended as follows: 65-41 This section reserved for future use. Section 3. Separability The provisions of this local law are separable and if any provision, clause, sentence, subsection, word or part thereof is held illegal, invalid, unconstitutional, or inapplicable to any person or circumstance, such illegality, invalidity or unconstitutionality, or inapplicability shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions, clauses, sentences, subsections, words, or parts of this local law or their application to other persons or circumstances.
