Fire Dept: July was a busy month for us having 30 runs total for the month. Also, a heavy maintenance month for
the pumper tanker on repairs that have been lacking for some time. There have also been some updating
improvements made to the pumper tanker that will hopefully help to extend the life. Fingers crossed all repairs for
it have been caught up, or are at least currently in the process.

RESOLUTIONS FOR APPROVAL:
• Resolution approving Budget transfers
• Resolution approving the hiring of Gregory Jalovick as a part-time Police Officer effective 8/20/24 at a salary of
$23/hr.
OLD BUSINESS:
• Fee for snow removal from sidewalks (Code Section 52-D)
John is proposing $50 plus $25 admin fee ($75), $100 plus $25 admin fee ($125) for corner lot. Based on 1 hr of
employee time, truck, snow blower, salting plus Code Officer notification, Deputy Clerk billing, mailing.
