BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY Regular Meeting October 26, 2021 10:30 AM Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Lynch at 10:30 A.M. Members Present: Mayor Lynch, Jamie Lewis, Steve Sonaty and Scott Williams. Also, present was Clerk- Treasurer Nina Rivas and Attorney Dan Whitten. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING: Member Sonaty made a motion to table the minutes from October 26, 2021; Member Lewis seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays OLD BUSINESS: None. NEW BUSINESS: Tag Day Request – City Point Church 11/13/21 Member Williams made a motion to approve the event; Member Lewis seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays Change Order 2 – 2021 Pay App 7 - $4,324.20 Pay App 8 - $1, 368.12 Pay App 9 - $5,958.16 Member Sonaty made a motion to table Change Order 2, Pay App 7, Pay App 8, and Pay App 9; Member Lewis seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays Best Equipment Quote – Sanitation Vehicles Superintendent Reeder requested approval to proceed with the order of CNG Sanitation vehicles in the amount of $2,226,743.52, contingent upon grant approval. Member Lewis made a motion to approve the request; Member Sonaty seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion Passed. 4 yes – 0 nays BULK ITEM APPEALS: None. CLAIMS Member made a motion to approve the claims in the amount of $258,668.96; Member seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays Member Sonaty made a motion to approve the payroll claims in the amount of $4,155,190.56; Member Lewis seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 5 yes – 0 nays MAJOR ILLNESS: Member Williams made a motion to approve six (6) MI Claims in the amount; Member Lewis seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 5 yes – 0 nays OTHER BUSINESS:Path Software – Subscription Approval (one year) Member made a motion to approve the request, Member seconded the request.
