BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY Regular Meeting April 12, 2022 10:30 AM Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Lynch at 10:30 A.M. Members Present: Mayor Lynch, Joetta Collins, Jamie Lewis, Scott Williams, and Stephanie Young-Johnson. Also, present was Clerk-Treasurer Nina Rivas and Attorney Dan Whitten. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING: Member Williams made a motion to approve the March 8, 2022 and March 22, 2022, minutes; Member Collins seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 5 yes – 0 nays UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None. NEW BUSINESS: Special Event Request National Day of Prayer, May 5, 2022 – Founder’s Member Collins made a motion to approve the Special Event Request; Member Young-Johnson seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 5 yes – 0 nays 2022 Crack Sealing Bid Member Williams made a motion to award the 2022 Crack Sealing Project bid to Russell Standard in the amount of $59,502.00; Member Collins seconded the motion. Member Lewis ask about the interfund transfers. Clerk-Treasurer Rivas stated those were transfers to the payroll account from the general account. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board.
